Adrian and Jen's
Wedding - July 26, 2003 |
|||
| One of our friends summed it up at the reception best when he began his toast by saying, "Something tells me, Mr and Mrs Sybenga (Dan, Justin, and Adrian's Mom and Dad), that of your three sons being married, this one gives you the greatest sense of relief" You can take that as you will, but we know that with Adrian, up until recently, not being to keen on the idea of marriage, that is was indeed a relief (or maybe more of a joy) when he took the plunge and asked Jen to marry him. And it was truly a joyful occasion. No one doubts that Jen and Adrian will be perfect foils for one another. They bring out the good qualities in each other, which is what marriage should do. And they have a lot of fun in the process. The day was a wonderful one. We started out with pictures at Calvin College (our alma mater) and moved on to Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church, where the ceremony took place. Dan's, and of course Adrian's, Mom and Dad officiated the service as a team. The message they gave was extra special as it was very personal and full of important advice for couples beginning a marriage together. The reception took place at Noto's Old Italian Restaurant. The food was delicious and the stories shared really made everyone appreciate the specialness of the day and the marriage that had been begun. We wish Adrian and Jen God's blessing as they begin their lives together. |
