After living in Muskegon for more than six months we were beginning to wonder whenn things were going to start picking up.

Well we finally found out. With the coming of summer. Since Memorial Day, Muskegon has been a rather hubbub of excitement. Parties in the Park started, the Cross Lake Ferry started, and most interesting to us, the local tourist trolley kicked off its season.

For a quarter you can now go from downtown Muskegon to the most interesting spots in the area, including all the great nearby beaches. What a deal! Today we tried out the longest route offered. It was a 20 mile jaunt up to Whitehall and Montague, all along the lake. Very nice. We are looking forward to trying out the other routes soon.
